Divers
The
diving work is a natural speciality of Rederiet
Erik Høj. The craft is focused upon, and
throughout the years it has been characteristic
that the divers have been a part of the permanent
staff. In this way the company has achieved a
solid experience and insight, which can be used
directly in the multifarious work. For instance
Rederiet Erik Høj has 2 vessels and 4 divers
working at the construction of the connection
across the Great Belt. Work that demands a lot of
professional knowledge of the divers, and the
ability to meet new tasks as a challenge, not a
problem. Besides doing the diving work from the
company's own vessel, it can also be done from
diving vans.eh

Survey
Survey is among the new activities of Rederiet
Erik Høj. It started in 1996 doing large surveys
in relation to the construction of the connexion
across the Sound, and has ever since been
incorporated into the standard field of activity
of the company. By means of advanced equipment
the bottom of the sea can be surveyed and
described, after which directives are given in a
report. This information can for instance be used
in connection to considering the need for
dredging, the settling of accounts for
accomplished dredging work etc. In order to
comply with the many different levels in the
survey activities, the survey unit of Rederiet
Erik Høj can be used. A smaller vessel with all
the necessary equipment that can be transported
around the country on a trailer, and in that way
be used whereever it is needed, also in
demarcated areas with cramped space, such as
yacht ports.eh

Sea contractors
Besides the areas of speciality, diving and
survey, Rederiet Erik Høj is an experienced
seacontractor. The company undertakes all kinds
of sea enterprises, individual jobs as well as
total enterprises. The jobs cover the entire
spectrum within sea conreactor work, among other
things dredging, harbour construction, submersion
concreting, bottom protection, placing of
membranes etc. Furthermore, naturally there is on-going
supervision and quality control of the work. |
